Mathematical Equations

Summary of topic

I thought you might find this website interesting as a general resource for solutions to mathematical equations. It looks like it will be constantly updated and grow to be very useful:

Declan Lavelle - declanlavelle@hld.ie

"The international scientific-educational website EqWorld presents extensive information on solutions to various classes of ordinary differential, partial differential, integral, functional, and other mathematical equations. It also outlines some methods for solving equations, includes interesting articles, gives links to mathematical websites, lists useful handbooks and monographs, and refers to scientific publishers, journals, etc. This site will be kept up to date to include new equations with solutions and other useful information."

"The EqWorld website is intended for researchers, university teachers, engineers, and students all over the world. It contains over 1500 webpages and is visited by around 1000 users a day worldwide. All resources presented on this site are free to its users."

TM (28/3/06) excellent site. See also the wikipedia page with solutions to integrals

MG (2/7/06) I recommend as well the use of computer algebra systems as Maple or Mathematica, or if you do not want to spend any mony at all try xmaxima, which can do lot as well.
